Valentine's Day isn't something we really get over excited about, but I must admit I do like to exchange cards and do something. So here is my guide for last minute ideas, which I always end up needing.
First things first. Valentine's Day can be pretty confusing, Time to drop the hint of what you are expecting, especially if this is a new relationship. Some people will refuse to even accept it as a day, others will expect huge flower deliveries at work, everyone is different, just make sure you are on the same page... you don't want to be disappointed or horrified.
As girls we got it pretty easy. Guys are easy to please, card, beer. Something from Ann Summers. Done. Really doesn't matter if its valentines day or not, thats a winner right there (plus you get to buy yourself new underwear, win win)
So here are my top picks for your other half this Valentines day.

I opted for the Middle Lena Teddy, cute, girly and super flattering on :)
I will also grab him a crate of beer & a super cheesy card. 'Cause nothing says "I love you" more than a crate of Miller lol.
We will then decide to not go out, because we haven't booked and everywhere will be expensive. Then opt for staying in watching Netflix and ordering a Dominos... which to me is perfect.
For clothes I will probably opt for something comfy yet cute - leggings and a dress is always a winner for me, like PJs only more acceptable.
As for Makeup go for something you know they will like. Seems odd but most of the time I will go for a full face, something I like on myself... but Iain would argue I suit a more subtle look. He hates bright lipstick, and prefers when I don't contour, so I will probably go for a more fresh and pretty look this Valentine's Day.

I will be having a really relaxed Valentine's day in my PJs (long distance problem)! If you're gonna be at home, fresh face would be the best, at least something your other half will love :)
