Lipstick of the Month: MAC Honey Love


I have been doing this post now since Jan, and I finally realised in April, I haven't even mentioned the one that I use the most, so here goes...



MAC honey love is without even a little bit of doubt - my all time favourite lipstick.

EVER.

Yes I said ever.

That is a big claim, but it's well earned. 


It is a pale girl's perfect nude, the perfect peachy, pinky, nude. sloppyiest swatch ever, but you can see it's beauty from there. 

It is part of MAC's Matte collection. Think creamy buttery texture, doesn't dry out or flake, has the most incredible smell (vanilla) 

This is one I go for everytime I feel self concious about my lip hair (which is usually a lot, the car mirror is evil, and I need to remove it) It is also the one I go for when I have a bold eye (Which tends to be all the time)  It is how I want my lips to look naturally - even if it is matte.

So...I just cannot get enough of this lipstick.

    I have so many MAC lipsticks on my wishlist! And this is definitely on there. I just bought Soar lipliner so i'm currently loving wearing just that. xx

    Such a gorgeous shade! I have been eyeing up Honeylove for a while, it's definitely on my MAC lipstick wishlist! I recently bought Viva Glam II and I am basically in love with it, it's so so pretty xo

    Perfect color for any kind of make-up, for a long time I needed such a great matte color and now I know where to find it. I love your hairstyle

    Perfect, perfect, perfect! I'm *this* close to going out and buying every single MAC lipstick I've got saved to my favourites right now haha. This truly is such a gorgeous shade on you, perfect for pale skin - as you've said!
