Make up is something I love, something I really enjoy buying, something I look forward too. But I haven't always been this way. This time two years ago I hadn't had makeup on in months, and I owned the same little makeup bag I had used since I was 14... using the same products, too orange foundation, clumpy mascara and yes - I used the makeup sponges which came with my eye shadow palettes, cringe! No wonder I hated makeup - what I was using was awful.
Anyway... over the past two years I have been building a collection. With that has been some amazing finds, things I cannot live without.... but there has also been things that just don't work for me. I either don't like them, gotten old, or I just don't use them... total impulse buys I don't need or want.
So these are the things I am saying goodbye to, and I challenge you to do the same. Think about the last time you used them? if you actually like them? and would you want to finish them? If its a no to any of the 3 then bin them! Make room for newer more exciting releases!
Are you having a clear out for the new year? I am hoping this will challenge me to really think about the items I am going for before I waste my money, I want to have a collection I use AND love. Not too hard right?

I would love to see the before and the after pic if you took it, babe. Obsessed with anything de-cluttering related lol. I did the similar thing just before new year's and it felt so good to part with something I haven't used in ages nor ever will.

Funnily enough it didnt make much of a difference! These were all sitting in a pot of "I dont like you" things, so it doesnt look any different :( I am however doing Project Pan with a difference this year, post will be going up next week sometime, which i am really looking forward to! :)
DeleteI haven't had a clear out for so long. I like buying stuff and whenever I buy new things, I stop using the old. This is one thing I will definitely do, this way I will be able to see how much I wasted my money on things I hardly use.
