It seems odd to even post after what has happened today, but from last time, I know some of us were too sad to watch the news, and used blogs and youtube as a way to escape everything which is going on, so please understand I am deeply saddened by what has happened, and I am not trying to take away from that, but as a comfort to some, the post will go live as scheduled.
Last weekend I was at a wedding for my lovely friend, (you can view her wedding here, it was beautiful.) So I thought I would share what I put onto my face for the occasion, as some of you may be in need of inspiration for a wedding over summer! :)

Eyes
I always do my eyes first when I am doing a full face. It just makes it easier to clean up when you get glitter down your face.
So I started with the MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre to prime my eyes, this is my go daily. I then went in with my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, which is the pinker tone one - this is the perfect wedding palette, quite neutral and beautiful to work with. I used Limit, Nooner and blackheart to do a standard smokey eye, I then went in with MAC Melon with some setting spray. I wet my brush using a setting spray then pack it on to my lid and blend out the edges.
For Liner I use the Barry M Eye Define liner, then popped on some mascara and some Ardell Demi Whispies.

Base
For my base I used a bit of primer, then the Lancome TIUW foundation in the shade 005, which I had to mix with some MAC Studio Fix in NW20 (I got a sample from the counter) This combo was incredible, and matched my fake tan perfectly :)
I then used the Kat Von D Lock-It concealer under my eyes and spot covering. Then set it all with Vichy Dermablend Loose powder. I baked under my eyes too.

To contour I used the Too Faced Coco Contour palette, I use the lighter shades just to sculpt my face. I then put the Hourglass ambient lighting blush in Mood Exposure on my cheeks, then double highlighted with CoverFX drops in Moonlight, then Becca Champagne pop - because I LOVE double highlighting!

The Extras
For brows I always use the Benefit precisely my brow pencil, just to fill in my arch. For lips I then used the Lancome Beige Rose lipliner then Bobbi Brown lipstick in Sandwash Pink.
So yeah, there is my finished look. I then set the whole thing with Hairspray - I have clearly been watching too much drag race - but giving them credit, it does work!
Oh, and I really dreaded the idea of putting all the links in, so everything can be found on Debenhams, apart from Becca, Cover FX and Hourglass - which is SpaceNK.
What kind of look do you usually go for at weddings? Do you go soft? Or all out? Let me know in the comments :)
