On The Go Beauty Bag


I think everyone has those days - the ones where you hit snooze 12 times too many, or leave it until the very last minute then think FUCK. Scramble yourself together and throw some makeup into a bag to do on the way - usually to work. 

So I thought I would share with you the things I always throw in my bag. The key things I think of while taking makeup out my house is mainly: 


1. Is it breakable? 

2. Would I care if it got broken or lost? 

3. Is it quick, easy, fuss free, and preferably applied with one brush/fingers. 

So, the things which are currently in my makeup bag are, in order of application of course:

Sure I could probably pick a cheaper lippy and blush - but meh, even on the go I like to feel fancy! :)

I think being able to throw on makeup when needed is fab, and the easier the product is to apply the more likely I am to use it like this - hence all the cream products! :)

Also can we take a moment to appreciate how BUSHY by brows are currently? Ha, been growing them out like crazy... they seem to be wanting to join my hair line!

    Ooh sorry, I don't know what happened with my initial comment! I love La Roche-Posay's BB cream for speedy application - it's so light and you can just slap it on with fingers and go!

    I never do my makeup anywhere but home. I rather use only a concealer and mascara, than take my beauties out and possible lost or brake them, haha.

    I long for days when I could have done that. With my meds I have to get up super early to get my body going so makeup application is one of those things I do to do just that! Love the lippy!

    I love the Kiko eyeshadow sticks, they're so creamy and easy to apply. I always carry my matte powder too and my UD concealer.

    I love the Seventeen Long Lash Mascara! For me I love keeping my MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in my bag as it helps mattify but also helps add coverage throughout the day.
