Aaaah Summer. The thought of a hot sunny day does excite me, but at the same time I have the realisation that I need to carry more around with me than I usually would. Simply because we are out enjoying the outdoors more! :) Here are the things that are now living in my big handbag, ready for trips to the beach, or the park whenever the sun comes out to play! :)
1. Superdrug Deodorant Foot Spray £3.45
This stuff is AMAZING. Seriously don't know how I would cope without it now, hot day, give this a spray and your feet will be smelling fresher than fresh. No stinky sweaty feet from me - and don't feel embarrassed we all have sweaty feet! 100% normal, except mine smell like Tea Tree & Lemon now. My shoes don't stink either. This also doesn't leave your shoes or feet wet either. Dries instantly. LOVE IT.
2. Ladival Sun Cream SPF30* £20.00 £13.33
I am loving using the Ladival sun cream this summer, it applies to well and is quick and easy to use. It doesn't leave me sticky or white either. SPF is a summer essential, even in Scotland. Our wind isn't forgiving. It allows the sun to burn us without us realising - so stay protected folks!
3. Ladival Kids Sun Spray SPF50* £20.00 £13.33
If SPF is essential to me it is crucial to AJ. My sons skin is SO important to me, I won't allow something as easy to apply as sun cream be the reason he has problems in later life. So he is smothered in it all summer, poor kid. He much prefers spray for application, I spray it all over and he helps to rub it all in. The spray on this is easy and quick to use, and it doesn't irritate AJ's dry skin either. The lock is so handy for keeping in your bag too! Winner from Ladival!
4. SO...? Fragrance Mist* £3.99 £1.98
I seem to practically bathe in mists all summer while it is hot, and the SO..? ones are fab for this! I love the smell of them, and they are so quick and easy to use.
5. Lip Balm With SPF £3.49
From someone with pervious experience, burnt lips is PAINFUL. Don't risk it, swap your regular lip balm for one with SPF in it, it can make all the difference.
6. Wipes £0.99
Everything from ice cream stick all over AJ's face, sand all over his hands, dirt all over his face, you name it, I have had to use a wipe to wipe it. Most common reason for why I use them is the dreaded suncream in eyes situation. THE BURN. Also I hate having sticky hands too.
7. Merci Handy Flower Power Hand Sanitiser* £3.00
See Above. AJ likes touching everything. Including snails, worms, dogs, ICK. I don't mind so much until we go to eat. Then he is forced to get his hands clean. Plus it gets rid of that yuck dog drool smell on your hands before you eat anything. Oh and outdoor park toilets? Gross!
8. Hill & Noble Sweet Jasmine & Lime Hand Cream
This is always a handbag essential, and this scent is perfect for summer. I love hand cream, my nails and hands always seem to need it - and thank me for using it :)
